Film

Film is my biggest inspiration. It's nostalgic, tangible, and just can't be replaced. I shoot in 35mm and medium format. If you value real unedited moments like I do, you'll want to add film to your day.

The Process of Film

Film is shot on physical rolls inside metal canisters. These rolls are loaded up into a camera. With each shot, the next slide of film turns until each slide has been exposed.

The film is then sent off to a trusted developer where they use a chemical process to bring out the image on each slide. These images are then scanned digitally for easy access.

Because of this process, shooting on film can be risky. If something happens to the canister or the film during the developing process, the images may not be recoverable.

The excitement you feel when the images are revealed can't be matched. Memories return and the love and care each photo received is evident every time.
